Your Business Is Generating Real Revenue.

So Why Does It Still Feel Like You Need More Money?

You’ve built a successful business.

Revenue may be growing. Your P&L may even show a healthy profit.

And yet...

  • Cash still feels tighter than it should.

  • Customers owe you money while payroll and expenses keep coming due.

  • A line of credit that was supposed to provide temporary support has become a regular part of doing business.

  • Or maybe your company is growing, and you need more money to hire, expand, increase inventory, buy equipment, or take advantage of the opportunities in front of you.

Either way, you’re now wondering:

“Where am I going to get the money my business needs?”

But before you answer that question, there’s another one worth asking…

"WHY does my business need the money?"

First, Know That There’s Nothing Inherently Wrong with Needing Capital.

Additional money may be exactly what a healthy, growing business needs to fund its next stage of growth.

But if your business is experiencing recurring cash pressure, adding more capital without understanding what’s creating that pressure may only provide temporary relief.

That’s why it’s important to understand what’s happening financially inside your business first.

That’s why capital should follow clarity.

The Financial Breakthough Roadmap Helps You See What a CFO Sees Beneath the Surface Of Your Numbers

The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap is a structured 5-session financial diagnostic experience that helps you understand what’s really happening inside your business before you make important decisions about capital.

Your analysis is personally prepared by Marilyn J. Magett, CEO and Founder of Evolve CFO Services, a seasoned financial executive with more than three decades of experience, including CFO and Controllership-level roles.

Before the program begins (and with an NDA protecting your confidentiality), Marilyn will analyze 2+ years of your financial statements. She’ll look beyond individual line items to identify the trends, relationships, financial strengths, and potential gaps that may be shaping your need for capital.

Then, Marilyn will walk you through that analysis during the live, 5-session Financial Breakthrough Roadmap experience. You’ll understand what your numbers are telling you about your business and be empowered to make decisions with confidence and clarity.

“I needed to increase my LOC with my bank. Marilyn helped me position my financials and projections to be able to pitch to several banks.

"She looked under the hood, analyzed and determined exactly where the deficits were in my cash flow, and helped me position my company in the best possible light. Cash is now abundantly available and I will be reaching out to Marilyn again for assistance with managing growth."

What Could Your Numbers Reveal
About Your Business?

Your numbers can tell you much more than
how much revenue you generated or your profitability.

Using your actual financial information, Marilyn will help you explore questions such as:

“Where is my money really going?”

You may be generating significant revenue and even showing a profit while still wondering why there never seems to be enough cash. The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap can help you understand the relationship between revenue, profitability, and cash flow -- and where money may be getting tied up or consumed.

“How does my business compare to others in my industry?”

Marilyn will compare key measures from your business with relevant industry benchmarks, giving you greater context for seeing where your company is performing well and where gaps or opportunities may deserve a closer look.

“Is growth strengthening my business - or putting too much pressure on it?”

More revenue doesn’t automatically mean more cash or greater financial strength. You’ll gain insight into whether growth is generating cash, consuming cash, or creating new demands for working capital.

“How is my working capital being impacted by receivables, debt, or other financial pressures?”

Money owed to your business isn’t the same as money available to use. Your analysis can help you see how receivables, debt, and other financial obligations may be affecting the cash available to operate and grow your company.

“Can I rely on the financial statements I’m using to make decisions?”

Your FBR may uncover gaps, inconsistencies, or questions in your financial reports that deserve attention before you rely on those numbers to make important business decisions.

“What deserves my attention next?”

Your FBR will identify areas that warrant further attention and help you understand which findings may be most important as you consider your next moves.

you'll also explore questions like:

  • Is my business as profitable as it should be?

  • Where are the significant financial performance gaps?

  • What might those gaps be costing the business?

  • How are debt and interest affecting the business?

  • What does my financial condition mean as I consider pursuing additional capital?

aND By the end of the program, you’ll have a much clearer financial picture behind the question -- and you’ll be in a much more informed position to decide what comes next.

“Before I started working with Marilyn Magett and Evolve CFO Services, I was completely in the dark about my business finances. Without the real numbers, I was holding back because I didn’t have clarity.”

Working with Marilyn has been one of the BEST decisions I have made for myself and my business. I am so much more confident in the decisions we are making to grow the business because they are based on real, clean numbers, reporting, and planning. Within 3 months of hiring Evolve CFO Services, I was able to hire 2 new support team members to help manage our growth and keep our clients happy!

Looking Beneath the Surface
of Your Numbers

Marilyn J. Magett is the CEO and Founder of Evolve CFO Services and a seasoned financial executive with more than three decades of experience.

Throughout her career, Marilyn has served in CFO and Controllership-level positions for companies including Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies.

Today, she works with growth-focused women business owners who need to understand what their financial reports mean for the decisions they’re making about cash, profitability, growth, and capital.

Marilyn has built her career around looking beyond the numbers on a page to understand the financial story underneath them.

She helps business owners:

  • Understand what is really driving cash flow and profitability

  • Identify financial trends, gaps, and potential trouble spots

  • Compare business performance against meaningful financial benchmarks

  • Translate financial data into information they can use to make decisions

  • Understand the financial implications of growth and capital needs

  • Lead with greater financial clarity and confidence

That same CFO-level perspective is at the heart of the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap.

Marilyn created the FBR to give established business owners a structured way to step back, examine their financial reality, and understand what may be happening beneath the surface before making important decisions about what comes next.

And because your Financial Breakthrough Roadmap is based on your actual financial information, Marilyn will apply that perspective directly to your business and your numbers.

whAT COULD HAPPEN IN YOUR BUSINESS IF you can see what a CFO sees?

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...

Each session is approximately three hours. Instead of overwhelming you with all of your financial information at once, each session builds on the one before it.

Marilyn introduces the financial concepts for that stage of the Roadmap, then releases the corresponding portion of your individualized analysis so you can apply what you’ve just learned to your own numbers.

You’ll have time to review your findings while the concepts are fresh, think about what they mean for your business, and identify questions you want to ask Marilyn. She’ll help you understand your individualized analysis and put your findings into context so you can better understand what your Roadmap is telling you.

The progression looks like this:

Understand the Numbers

Start with the key financial measures that help you evaluate the health and performance of your business.

See Your Financial Reality

Look beyond individual numbers to understand the trends and relationships emerging across your financial statements.

Diagnose the Gaps

See where your business is performing well, where financial gaps may exist, and how your performance compares with relevant industry benchmarks.

Identify What Deserves Your Attention

Review the areas Marilyn has identified for further attention and understand why those findings matter.

Put the Whole Picture Together

Bring the individual pieces of your analysis together so you can see your business more clearly as a whole.

Is the financial breakthrough roadmap

Right for You?

The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap is designed for women CEOs leading established businesses generating at least $1 million in annual revenue who want a clearer understanding of what is happening financially inside their companies.

It may be a good fit for you if:

  • Your business generates substantial revenue, but cash still feels tighter than it should.

  • You’re profitable on paper, but you sometimes wonder where all the money is going.

  • Your business is growing, and you need more money to hire, expand, increase inventory, buy equipment, or take advantage of new opportunities.

  • You rely on a line of credit or other borrowing more than you’d like -- or you’re considering taking on additional debt.

  • Customers owe you money while payroll, operating expenses, and other financial obligations keep coming due.

  • You know your business needs additional capital, but you want to better understand why you need it and what deserves your attention before deciding what comes next.

  • You want to understand your financial information at a deeper level so you can ask better questions of your accountant, banker, and advisors -- and make more informed decisions as CEO.

Who Is the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap
NOT For?

The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap is NOT a good match if you’re primarily looking for:

  • Startup financing or help funding a new business

  • A loan or other source of capital

  • A lender or investor matching service

  • Bookkeeping or correction of your accounting records

  • A guarantee that you’ll qualify for or obtain financing

  • Implementation of the areas identified for further attention through your Financial Breakthrough Roadmap

  • Ongoing individualized CFO services

Frequently Asked Questions.

Will the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap help me get funding?

The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap does not provide or guarantee financing.

But it can help you better understand why your business needs additional capital and what your financial information reveals about that need.

That understanding can help you make better-informed decisions about whether pursuing additional capital makes sense and what financial issues may deserve attention first.

Will Marilyn help me find a lender or investor?

No. The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap does not provide lender or investor matching.

Its purpose is to help you understand your business’s financial reality before you decide where additional money should come from.

Will My Financial Information Stay Confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Protecting the sensitive information in your financial statements is a priority throughout the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap. A Non-Disclosure Agreement will be put in place to protect the confidential information you share with Marilyn.

Although you’ll participate in the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap with a small group of other women CEOs, your individual financial statements, confidential business information, and personalized analysis will not be shared

with other participants.

During the live sessions, you’ll have opportunities to review your own findings and ask questions to help you understand what they mean. You will not be asked to share your financial statements or individualized reports with the group.

What if I’m not sure my financial statements are accurate?

You can still participate.

Part of understanding your financial reality is determining whether the information you’re relying on gives you an accurate picture of your business. If Marilyn identifies questions, inconsistencies, or gaps in the financial information you provide, those findings may themselves reveal areas that deserve your attention.

Marilyn will help you understand what those findings may mean. Correcting or reconstructing your financial records is outside the scope of the Financial Breakthrough Roadmap.

How is this different from what my account or bookkeeper already does?

Your accountant, bookkeeper, or accounting team is an essential part of your financial team. They help maintain accurate records, prepare financial statements, handle taxes and compliance, and provide the financial information your business depends on.

The Financial Breakthrough Roadmap adds a CFO-level perspective. You’ll better understand the relationships, trends, and patterns behind the numbers -- and what they may mean for your cash position, growth, financial strength, and need for capital.

As your business grows, this kind of financial understanding can help you ask better questions of your accountant, banker, and other advisors and make more informed decisions as CEO.

What if I’m not available for all 5 sessions?

Each session is approximately three hours. Marilyn plans approximately 60–90 minutes of teaching, followed by time to review the corresponding portion of your individualized analysis, reflect on what your numbers reveal, and ask questions about your findings.

You’ll get the most from the program if you participate in all 5 sessions. But if you have to miss a session or step away for a bit, recordings will be available at the end of each day. You’ll have access to the recordings for 30 days.

Will I be able to ask Marilyn questions about my own business?

Yes. Each live session includes time to review your individualized FBR findings and ask questions so you can understand and interpret what your numbers and reports are telling you.

The live Q&A focuses on understanding your FBR findings. Developing a specific solution or implementation plan for issues uncovered through the analysis may require separate private consultation.
